The Raene’s Cleansing Quest Chain
Raene's Cleansing is a popular Alliance quest in World of Warcraft. The quest chain has 11 parts to it and it starts in Ashenvale. You'll be able to do the quest once you reach level 18. Then you just need to find visit Raene Wolfrunner at the Astrannaar Inn and she'll give you your first instructions for starting the quest.
Your objective in the Raene's Cleansing quest is to get Ran Bloodtooth's Skull and Dartol's Rod of Transformation and bring both of these back to Raene. Many questers though choose not to finish the quest because they prefer ot hold onto the Rod. The Rod of Dartol allows you to shapeshift into a bear, i.e. a furbolg. The shapeshifting effect lasts for three minutes or until you take some damage. While there's no real purpose for the furbolg, it is lots of fun so if you want to keep the Rod, just avoid completing the final quest in the chain.
