Wintergrasp is an area that people are familiar with when trying to get those rare PVP meta-gems, but it's also a great place to go to when you're trying to get quick gold. Wintergrasp is filled with a new crafting item that is very popular for all the new patterns coming out of Icecrown. Farming elemental eternals can help you bank great money without having the best gear.

Though the entire zone is known for its pvp, it's also the best place in Northrend to farm eternals. There are many spots all over the zone with different elemental eternals that are clustered close together. Search the auction house for the elementals that are selling for the most gold, and make a list of the top five. It's better to make a longer list of the top five types because it gives you somewhere else to go to if you find that the area you want to go to is being over camped.

Another benefit of farming eternals in Wintergrasp is the free honor. Simply being in the zone when Wintergrasp ends will get you the normal honor that everyone else receives. In the new patch, honor can be traded in for epic gems, which can sell for over 200g on some servers. So just by farming here, you can get free honor that you can use for epic gems, or other gear that you need.

When people began to hear news about Wintergrasp, there was a lot of speculation about how widely it would be used, knowing the history of similar zones in the past. But, WotLK delivered a great zone for people who like to farm a lot of gold, without having to run around the entire zone looking for mobs. Though, there is one drawback for Wintergrasp; it is a pvp zone, so you have to be aware of your surroundings, and watch out for those PVP'ers.
