WoW Gold Guide – Farm More Gold with these Tips
If you've been playing World of Warcraft for a little while, you already know that not having any gold makes it a pain in the butt to do anything in game. No one wants to raid with someone who can't afford enchantments, or can't buy the best crafted epics to upgrade. But, lucky for you there are tons of ways to make gold in WoW. Some people will monopolize one or the other, but you can always find a niche that's perfect for your play style.
I've got a few ways that you can make gold fast, but I'll list a couple of paid guides at the end that find almost every possible way to make a lot of gold fast in WoW. Now let's get on to the WoW Gold Guide tips.
Farming Eternals
First and foremost, start farming Eternals. These are probably the best thing to sit and grind if that's your thing. If you can find the right zone, you'll be getting 6+ eternals an hour. And depending on your server, that'll be a couple hundred gold an hour at least. Make sure to check AH before you head out to find out which eternals are selling the quickly and for the most money. Where should you head out to? Wintergrasp.
Yes, it is a pvp zone, and it can be kind of a pain, but you'll be able to grind the most eternals per hour here. And if someone camps on one of your spots, there's plenty more types of eternals on the map to camp. You just fly up and move on to the next best one until you find the perfect spot.
Dungeon Dailies
Another idea is dungeon dailies. You'll get 20-30 gold a piece, plus badges which can be spent on gear. If you haven't been 80 for long, it's a great way to pull in gear, badges, and gold, getting you to all of your goals quickly. You won't make as much gold per hour as farming, but you can pick up gear that you'll only find in dungeons, and it'll save you the cost of mats and gold by getting it for free.
Of course, if you're a DPS it may be tougher to get into groups. You'll be waiting the most, but if you have a healer or tank for a second spec, switch over to that. Healers, and especially tanks, get groups faster, and people tend not to make a big deal about gear as long as they got a meat shield that can hold aggro on the mobs.
If you're farming gold to get gear, this may be the best choice. You can pick up all the dungeon only gear while you make a ton of gold. Look around at what heroics and dungeons you need, because a lot of them contain the best in slot pieces for people who aren't raiding or PVP'ing yet.
Luke's guide, and Valkor's gold guide are two great guides to check out if you're serious about making gold. They got more tips, and location coordinates so that you can find the perfect places to grind. They also have info on how to do other tricky things, like work the Auction House in your favor. Check them out if you're not making as much gold as you want.
