Horde Leveling Guide – Fast Leveling Tips for WoW
Starting your first character or starting a new one, leveling for most people isn't a fun thing to do. It can get tedious, lonely, and boring. But, knowing where you're going, and what levels to go there will save you travel time, getting you to 80 fast so you can start actually doing the fun stuff. Following my tips should get you leveling as quickly as you can, and then you can always check with a more comprehensive Horde leveling guide if you want to do things even faster.
Leveling from Level One to 12
Level 1-12 is very simple. Run through your starting zone, doing every quest you can. Do the job specific quests at each level to make sure you get all the spells and abilities. Then, you can move on to the Barrens. You can almost get to level 30 before you even have to leave. Pick up and complete every quest you can get at Crossroads because there are a group of great chain quests that can net a lot of exp.
Leveling from Level 20 to Level 40
Around Level 20 or so, you can either head down to Camp Taurajo, or go into Stonetalon Mountains. Both or fairly close, it just depends if you want to head into a PVP area yet, or if you want to stay in a PVE only zone. Go with your personal preference.
The most popular place to go at level 30 is out to Stranglethorn Vale. This place is a questing HUB! Head to the expedition and get all of those quests to run through. You'll probably be able to get to mid thirties with just those and a few more from Grom'gol. You can pick up more quests that take you south to Booty Bay and get up to level 40+.
Leveling from Level 40 to 60
Around level 40 or so, people either head out to Tanaris or up to Hinterlands. Depending on where you feel like going, you can head to either. Although Tanaris is closer to an instance, so you may want to consider that. Some people head to Feralas.
I think the quests are too spread out so I usually stay in Tanaris until about 48, then head down to Un'Goro Crater. This place is packed with quests, so you'll get to 54 really quickly. And when you get to 54, head up towards Winterspring. There's a bunch of good quests in Felwood to get extra EXP heading into Winterspring. Once there, load up on quests, and make that push to level 59-60, and head out to Outlands.
Level 60 and Beyond
After you get to 60, you should have no problem knowing where to go to level. The quests lead you towards the next zone to go to as you complete them. Just make sure to pick up as many quests as you can in a zone before moving on to the next one, and completely clearing a zone of quests before moving on gives the max exp.
